Julbo,
Built At Elevation.
For Elevation.
The Idea
Julbo has been making eyewear for the mountains for generations, and its lenses are made to perform where the light is harshest, and the terrain is least forgiving. The brief was simple: show the glasses where they belong.
Putting the product in its natural habitat we took Julbo to the Bugaboos, a range of towering granite spires and glaciers where sun, altitude, and exposure push gear to its limits. The goal was a set of images that felt raw and earned, letting the environment prove what the glasses are made for.
The Execution
We shot a focused six-image social series high in the Bugaboos, capturing the eyewear in motion and at rest against sheer rock, ice, and big alpine light. Every frame was approached with a photojournalist perspective to feel authentic to the climbers and mountaineers who wear Julbo, rugged and real.
